Welcome to Books @ Chine Antiques.  

While this may seem like a strange place to find books for sale, it is a result of multiple passions.   In addition to Chinese Antiques I also collect and sell current and out of print books.  Primarily sold at established web sites I thought I'd list them here as well.   There are about 2000 books in my collection, most are of the science fiction or fantasy genre but there are many classical, biographical or instructional books as well.   I've catalogued about 400 or so books.  I'll update this site often so check back if I don't have the book you are looking for (or send me an email and I'll look through my inventory).

Each book's condition is described as faithfully as possible.  The following is a general idea of the condition associated with each grade.

New	The book is in a condition fit to be sold in a major retail book store as new.  There are no markings or bent pages and the binding is tight.  It should be noted that many new books sold at well known book stores have some minor defects such as shelf wear (due to handling by prospective customers).
Fine	Few or very minor defects, little usage. Older books may show minor flaws.
Very Good	Shows some signs of wear, may have minor creases on cover and spine, binding may be slightly skewed, pages may have bumped edges.
Good	Has all pages, binding may be loose or skewed, there may be marks such as highlighting, dust jacket may be torn.
Fair	A well-worn book which may be missing covers, jackets, endpapers or title page but no text pages.  May have markings but they should not interfere with readability.
Poor	Book may be soiled, have binding defects, have ripped or missing covers,  pages may be ripped.   All text, however, should be complete. These books are usually sold as reading copies only.
